Thanks but it was not stolen. It was in his warehouse, in the back of the store. Since it wasn't on display and nobody else knew it was there the price dropped big time. I have a Circuit City receipt for it. Completely Legit.

I have a friend who works at Circuit City. Earlier this year we were talking about making him a line stabilizer and he started egging me on to get a power conditioner. Well I am going on a cruise next summer, so all of my cash is tied up there so I mentioned I couldn't buy for at least a year. So he calls me yesterday. "I have a Monster Power Center, you want it?" "How Much?" "$40" "...!" I had to jump all over this. http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/item/details/752246098 That is the center I got. For $40 I figured I couldn't go wrong.

Extremely overhyped. Out of the box it isn't all that great, but for the money its a pretty good buy. We are tyalking about a DAC that costs 160 with shipping included. This is easily obtainable for many of our (uneducated) listeners. I agree it is a good DAC, but if you can afford better (and have heard better) then there are much nicer units to explore. There are just way too many idiots listening to that thing, and thinks its the greatest thing ever. Take a look at most of their post counts... most of these people have low end gear, or a very low count. Not many of the big guys would keep this for a source with extremely high end gear.
