  1. They only do colors in batch, so not an option, unfortunately.
  2. Thanks all. Boards were already in production yesterday.
  3. How long do they normally take to build a transformer?
  4. Paid for the whole batch today. I will get my hands on them in 3 weeks. Hopefully Paypal won't do stupid stuff again with my account...
  5. Save it up slowly then I need to sit down and double check with the machinist but guesstimate would be around $1k-1.2k, depending on options. Powder coating might be the only option for surface treatment. I still haven't found an anodizing shop yet. I am able to get all the sands from Satodenki and teflon tube sockets locally. Also got a whole pile of genuine 2sc3675 (not enough for 15 sets though) that I kept for future use.
  6. Yes, the paypal in the spreadsheet is correct.
  7. I put a link in my sig, feel free to put your interest there.
  8. You can just change the color of the total cost's cell to Blue so that I'd know it's correct.
  9. I've received the quote from the factory. The price is a bit higher than last time, considering there has been 25-30% increase in cost during the last 2 years. Plus, the quantity is only half as many as last time. To make it clear again, here are the details for what include in the board sets: It's terribly hard to guesstimate the correct shipping cost for each, so I'd just go ahead and charge a flat $22 for Airmail with registered number. If the actual cost is more or less, I will contact each. Please take a look at the spreadsheet again to make sure I got everything right, especially the Extra Requirements. I am pretty unclear about some of the entries. I will begin to take payment after a couple of days, after everyone is ok with your total.
  10. Actually, 13 to go. Boards are easy part, no biggie about that. The last time I ordered from heatsinkusa, total was less than $100, including cutting and shipping. I actually haven't got the quote for powder coating to guesstimate the total. There are lots of options to keep the cost up/down. Powder coating or keep it raw. Front panel thickness. Pattern of amp's machined holes...
  11. Sure I will. Just wondering if there is any interested in a GB for the T2 parts? Basically all the machined top, bottom, front (10mm), rear panels. Plus L brackets, supporting brackets, maybe custom aluminum knob and feet. Powder coating only. The only thing left is the heatsink which can be sourced from heatsinkusa. They do have tapping service. At least 15 sets though. Less than that, it's just not worth the hassle and price cut.
  12. Got some more work during the weekend. Anyone who got Dr Gilmore's cases is just so fortunate. Doing these from scratch is a pure PITA. And yes, I purposely made the heatsinks longer and the rear panels recessed.
  13. I will close the list within 6 hours and work out the final quantity. Sending out order tomorrow and will update with quote. Thanks all for the participation and waiting.
  14. Thanks for the understanding. Dr Gilmore will make a small change to the amp board for more foolproof. I got some firework during the testing last night, hence the delay for revision.
  15. I will stretch the GB a bit, maybe 2-3 days, for further testing of the new mini KGSSHV onboard. Hope you guys don't mind this.
  16. Yeah, indeed. Their communication is quite arbitrary. Recently I had to wait one week to get their response for a single transformer. Most of the S22 parts can be ordered from Mouser though. Thanks for the heads-up, Joachim. Hopefully Dr Gilmore will chime in about this.
  17. Looks like I will include the KGSSHV mini PSU for the Megatron. So each set of Megatron includes 1x amp board + 1x KGSSHV mini PSU. I am also working on something very similar to the Sigma22, will include that with the Dynahi, if you want. Or, AMB shop is the way to go.
  18. No biggie. What on earth are you going to do with 6 KSA5? I will close this GB on Thursday next week and send out the order to get the quote.
  19. I longer use Dale, so either Koa Speer/Xicon or PRP for me these days.
  20. Time for another big stock of PRP resistors.
  21. Anyone interested in this simple thing?
  22. Something must be wrong with your amp here. It should sound VERY good. Congrats on finishing the amp, very nice work, George.
  23. Satodenki stuff is good. I got a boatload of stuff recently from them and they are all perfect.
