Your link is in fact "Menu" by nervous_testpilot from the Frozen Synapse soundtrack. It's a 10+ minute ambient piece.
"Descendant" by Shen is a 5 minute downtempo piece with a strong breakbeat and fairly meaty bassliine:
The two tracks do appear back to back in that broadcast, with Descent coming first. It's definitely "Menu" that comes in around 1h14m.
I was originally going to post this in Slow Forum, but it requires a bit more reader interaction than that thread usually has. Here is a bunch of food types cut in to cubes. How many can you identify?
Late last night I heard that Michael Kandel AKA Tranqullity Bass died. He had just turned 48, IIRC. Michael was a pioneer of the trip hop sound, releasing some ground breaking 12"s in the early 90s. He enjoyed some reasonably large success in '97 with his Let The Freak Flag Fly album. I remember seeing the video for We All Want To Be Free on MTV's AMP that summer.
I'm a big fan of trackballs, and in my jaded opinion the above model is not the right Kensington to buy. The Slingblade Slimblade is the model you want. It's twice as expensive, but why skimp on french fried taters? This is Head Case, after all. Alright then, mmhmm.
