and then there's all the leftover mula for booze. I need my booze...purely for medicinal purposes. Helluva deal. HS

You have expensive tastes...LOL. Seriously, several years in South America converted me. Saves me a few bucks for this audio crack habit too... HS

If the conclusions from the experiment were to ring true for the majority of potential buyers, Gungnir $850 vs Ygg $2300. Major saving that could be used towards other pursuits like my neverending appetite for proper rum... HS

Cool little Sunbeam Tiger. The blue on the Audi with what I believe are HRE wheels...very nice. Thanks for sharing. HS

Very cool experiment. Thanks for going through the trouble of sharing the findings. HS

This is going to be very interesting for me to read about, TMoney. Especially the USB angle as supposedly the onboard USB in the ygg is supposedly the cat's arse. Good stuff. HS

Great photos. Thanks for sharing. The restomod Camaro looks great. There are so many here, both restored and restomod, I quit turning my head. I enjoy seeing something a bit more unusual....like a restomod wagon. Love the idea of going to the strip and banging out a 9 sec pass in a sleeper wagon.... HS

What guzziguy said. I use different levels of polishes (more coarse to finner in series depending on nature of issue) from Griot's. I cannot recommend brake cleaner. It may dull your paint and it will fog plastic in my experience. I have a friend that swears by charcoal starter....a petroleum based product, but I have never tried that personally. Just watch to make sure you're not down past the foreign paint and down into some primer native to the vehicle's paint Good luck. HS PS i have had some joy with a microfibre cloth and rubbing alcohol on my boy's vehicle.

Been very pleased with my ygg, feeding both my estat and dynamic rigs. It took some days to get there, but once it settled in I've not once second guessed the purchase decision. Hope all works out well for you, TMoney. HS

Yes...I lived in South America four years. Agree with your points but I obviously didn't make mine well. It was the execution by the bartender in question. It was a superb cocktail...not my first one. I imbibe. There was one other drink I would argue was made with as much love and skill and that was at the Palliser Hotel in Calgary. A Canadian Old Fashioned made with maple syrup and exeptional Canadian whiskey. The woman was an artist. Cheers HS

Negative camber.... A bit of negative camber is great for a road course. That crap hurts to look at. HS

I was in Peru last week and had an old-school cocktail (pisco sour...pisco is a South American brandy for those that have not tried it) at a hotel in the Sacred Valley. The use of bitters and nutmeg and the presentation was spectacular. I expect the rejuvenation of old school bartending spurred by Mr. Petraske influenced that experience. RIP, sir. My liver salutes you... HS

Yes, Leve. I found the cooper o-ringed gaskets to be too much work...leaked too often in my application. I push a bit of boost through a 406 C.I. motor. HS Those are some great pics, VPI. Particularly like the shot of the Cobra knock-off, aftermarket...whatever they're referred to as these days. HS

The KGST is easy to live with while putting out quite a bit of mojo (400v swing) in a relatively small package. Runs pretty darn cool too...thanks to Geoff. I haven't run it any longer than 12 or so hours straight, but I'm pretty confident it could wrong longer w/o drama given how well the temps are managed. At the moment I'm listening to Duane Allman - an Anthology....Loan Me a Dime is the tune which he plays with Boz Scaggs. All kinds of goodness. Song just rolled and now it's Dave Meniketti's - On the Blue Side; song: Until the Next Time. I'm sippin' rum and smiling after a looooong day... HS

Those Javelins are under appreciated. Would love to do a restomod of one or the coke bottle shaped ones like Donohue raced in the Trans-Am series. Great pics. HS

That's a tough one and I don't think I could honestly say yes. What I can offer is mine dissipates heat very well and I have left in one for 12 hours at a time w/o issue. I've never let it run much longer than that at one go, but after 12 hours I could comfortably lay my hand on top of the case. I think heat management and tube longevity are the two variables in the equation. Different executions of the same basic design so I'd start by asking about how hot it gets. That's my simple two bits. Best of luck with your search. HS

If it's a nicely built one for a fair price, I believe it will do you a great job with the 007A's. HS
