Side question: I haven't seen shots of the DA10s back. Are the XLR jacks male or female? Basically looking for which Headphile cable I'll need to run straight out of the back.

Here yah go. the jacks are the standard male. for a headphone cable you will be female XLRs... which is not the typical balanced cable option... might consider picking up some femail to female XLR adapters.

Too bad you are not coming to the chicago meet because you could bring Rek's HP2, use my HP2, Hook both up to Bill's GSX and use left side from mine and right side from Rek's,Presto... Balanced HP2!!

I didn't really like the KSC35's when I heard them, but for $15 to $25 they are a good deal I suppose like others have said.

BNC is clearly the best 75ohm connection but just is not something typically used on audio gear for some reason. The next best IMHO is AES/EBU then digital coax then optical.

Yah the 650s are pretty good

The RS-1s are up there too ... they really open up and get some depth to them I think I prefer them over the PS-1s... too bad my ears hate Grado

I think its funny how vastly different some cans are when balanced. For example: I love the 600 and RS2s....and balanced i like the 650s and RS1s better.
