650s are not bassy at all...its just that they sound so bloated most of the time.
I was not talking impact or such they just have a very emphasized bottom end... the 701s are a lot more balanced in the regard and do not sound muddy or bloated.

Can't wait to receive my pair, hopefully bass wont be too much of an issue
many would say the senns are too bassy ... the K701s are certainly better balanced... and they are no sonys as far as bass goes so no worries there.

They are pretty ok... even better balanced
...my one gripe while not really a gripe is that they are not as bassy as the Senns... Im not a bass whore or anything but I do enjoy it a fair amount.
u will also see that in cini as well.

I can only fit one of the 3 pins from the xlr plug in my ipod jack... what am i doing wrong?
Also, where is the mini jack in my studio mixing board so I can use this studio quality world class mini cable i got from ebay?

I was talking single-ended for the common folk....the bloat is much of the reason why i like the 600s better single ended.
