Todd has one in stock and one coming next week or so. I could have gotten the one he already had, but as I am on work travels for the next 2 weeks or so, I decided to wait for the one with "the new amp smell." Todd said this will be the second 307A he has sold. Anyone know who got the first?

and You all are a tough audience! I hope that the comparison of the 307A to the low-brow B-52 will provide at least a modicum of interest for the Head Case upper crust! Seriously, I am stoked about getting the 307A and finally getting to hear the K-1000's driven properly. Riceboy very kindly lent me his K-1000's and, although I know I was driving them inadaquately via the headphone jack on my Cary SLI-80, they showed just enough that I think they will be AMAZING via the 307A. Now if the 307A does smoke the B-52... Decisions, decisions...

I took the plunge and ordered one of these beasts! Should be here by the end of the month. I will post pictures as soon as I get it. Then...CLASH OF THE TITANS!!!! B-52 vs. 307A!!!

Agree. Their mole enchilada is also awesome. For the Honolulu, HI (island of Oahu) area, here are a few of our faves... Breakfast: Haleiwa Cafe, in Haleiwa, North Shore. Lunch: Cha Cha Cha Salsaria in Hawaii Kai. Terrific Jerk Chicken Taco's Dinner: depends on mood. Phuket Thai in Mililani (my favorite style of food); Sorento's in the Ilikai Hotel (Waikiki) or Azul's at Ko Olina for classy dining with wonderful ambiance; Jamison's in Haleiwa for dinner on the lanai during sunsets. This thread is making me hungry.

Congratulations! After 16 terrific years of marriage (yes, she does support my headphone and stereo habbits...even will go stereo shopping with me!!!), I can say it is a wonderful thing. Wishing you and your new spouse the best!!!

I just talked to Todd about this amp and I am getting jazzed. The selection of tubes was very smart and it looks to be able to drive any set of headphones this side of electrostatics. Best of all, from what Todd told me, the wait for one of these amps to be made is only a month. Just a smidgen better than HeadAmp and SinglePower. Now figuring out how to afford this beast!!!

Aloha Riceboy, I am glad you are getting the 840C. Let me know when you receive it. I think you will love it. Give it 50-100 hours of playing to break-in and don't scrimp on the interconnect to your SP Dragon amp. Have fun.
