The Ditty Bops - Moon Over The Freeway I do like female vocals. Who doesn't? The above CD features two female vocalists at the same time on most of the tracks.

What's this forum's opinion on NOS DACs?
Well I never went looking for the dirt on what really went on, but a couple years ago when I was researching their power products, I came across more than one forum where folks seemed to agree that at one point in time, PS Audio had made some dubious claims about some power conditioners and they used to not be designed very well either apparently, or something like that. I'm sure you could turn up more info if you went searching.

^ Is the DLIII actually that good? I've been reading the impressions of it over at HF with a huge dose of skepticism. PS Audio has always been sketchy you know.

Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction [MFSL] I have no idea - though I also own those CDs, I've listened to them only once so far and that was quite some time ago. Maybe at some point I'll do a back-to-back listen of all three.

Blue Hawaii Special Edition
I see that you are well-versed in my interests. But it would seem that another HC-er got the drop on you with an offer more relevant to my KGSS interests, better luck next time.

Bass eh? That's something I could use moar of!

Blue Hawaii Special Edition
Thanks for the info spritzer. Seems like I might be able to give up the BHSE then, though I might have to stage a comparison between the two amps somehow to find out for sure. Ok, but what would I get in return for selling at a drastically reduced price?

Lots of folks around here with nice photography gear now. I demand moar pics over in the Photography thread! Bought recently: 2-year subscription to Shutterbug.

Blue Hawaii Special Edition
So I have a question: what could I expect to lose sonically downgrading to the KGSS from the BHSE? I've been thinking more and more about a KGSS recently, as it'd simply be more convenient to deal with (reduced form factor, no tubes, etc) but I'm not totally sure yet. Oh and I just noticed that Justin is now using Iron_Dreamer's cool pic of the BHSE (from when he had it for a short time) on its product page: HeadAmp - Audio Electronics (Blue Hawaii SE Electrostatic Amp [bHSE]) http://www.head-case.org/forums/265414-post4996.html

I've been teetering between the Nikon 17-55 f/2.8 or the Nikon 16-85 f/3.5-5.6 to replace my current Tamron 17-55 f/2.8 but have been unable to decide. I might have to get both. (The Tamron is a decent lens but it's too slow and I also want to upgrade.) Mike was right, I bought my D300s from Adorama.com.

2009 HC Holiday Gift Exchange
Was wondering when you were going to post. I actually don't own a copy of Ultrashiver yet, I discovered that CD while browsing around Amazon and thought you might like it based on some similarities to Massive Attack. Will be getting my own copy of that one soon. Have checked out the CDs you sent, they're both really nice, I like! Would never have found them on my own.
