I'm really enjoying all the japanese jazz I've found recently, between this, Masabumi Kikuchi, Soil & "PIMP" Sessions, and Sleep Walker. There's an interesting style going on... There's an interesting style going on... the tags on the files i uploaded for you are wrong, it's SOIL&"PIMP"SESSIONS, all caps no spaces. remember, they play in caps. If you like them should check out toe and Special Others - Uncle John or really anything that Special Others does. more like everybody else is late and i don't read the forums i dl'd the album in a batch along with a few other postrock things, cam butler and grayceon. those are both great bands too, although don't have any free jazz elements.. cam butler has folk and symphonic overtones whilst grayceon is more neoclassical/metal... not in the malmsteen sense. i still haven't given boat a good listen, i'll do that soon and i trust you've heard SOIL&"PIMP"SESSIONS? they're as good as people say they are imo Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
