Smiley adjustmen

Is it possible to change smiley code from

[/php]

to something else? Every time I put a date

[php](1978)

or

(1988)

it changes to this (1978). Some goes for listing items

1) 2) ....  [/php]

Looks like this 1) 2) ...

Not a big deal but can be frustrating when you notice this after editing time expired.

As an alternate you can just click the box that says "Disable smileys in text". Then you can to your heart's content.

I use [] instead of () to avoid that.
