  1. Reading comprehension is not a strength of this group. Draft date and order have not been set. I do not have Colin to draw names this year.
  2. I agree. Your Kirk looks great. I'm sure that you'll have many months of enjoyment with it until you start jonesing for another new bike.
  3. I am now. Holland, I'm going with DA9000. I've only ridden Shimano, and unlike the haters hiding out in this thread, I like it. I was going to go Di2, but that's really over the top for where I ride and the type of rider I am, and though I could justify dropping 9 grand-ish on a bike, all things included, it's funny how I couldn't justify going just that bit more. If I'm still able to ride as I do now in five/six years, I'll get another bike, and maybe go electronic. Last day of work before vacation....new bike arriving tomorrow....if I can get through today, life is good.
  4. It will arrive on Saturday. Depending on when it shows up and how busy Vince and Ethan are that day, I may be riding on Saturday evening
  5. My new 11-34 cassette is installed along with my dura ace chain.
  6. Hell that's better than a little girl acting like an old lady...
  7. It's far worse, Gene. I'm an old lady acting like a little girl on Christmas Eve.
  8. Just got me a pair of these for my commute: They have the Fototec lens, I love them. I have been pretty disciplined about commuting (5 miles each way with some minor hills) every day to work for the past 6 weeks or so. I think I have only missed 2 days when I had to run errands or transport items too large for the bike. It's really helped me lose weight (not sure how much: I have a "don't ask don't tell" policy with my scale) but I have been able to drop 2 inches in waist size so that's good. I have also saved a bunch of money on gas. My plan is to ride all winter as well unless there is ice. I have outfitted the Defy with a rack and a Topeak bag, all the better to commute with. I had a 2 week spell with 3 flats: 1 blow out and 2 pinch flats so I have learned to be more careful with curbs and potholes and such. Loving the rides though, it's my favorite part of the day!
