  1. I can't wait to get mine fit properly. I've spoken with my shop about doing a full-on fitting on it sometime over the winter or very early in the spring.
  2. Did 2 hours on the Calfee today. I fucking love that bike!
  3. Seemingly interesting but actually poor analysis. It is possible for headphone A to barely pass all categories and be rated A+, while headphone B passes 5 out of 9 with flying colors, barely misses on the other 4, and is rated an F. The cutoffs for each category are arbitrary, with no correlation to how sound is perceived, making this an example of why purely "objective" reviews are 1) subjective and 2) generally useless.
  4. I share your like of Ms. Rickards. Her character is great and the show is better than decent most times. Great, no, but fun.
  5. These metrics used are all pass/fail checks, even though 4 and 5 seem like they could be subjective.
  6. Well the Caldigit thunderbolt dock has been in the house for about a month. It has worked perfectly with only two glitches. The first was upon initial setup. The Ethernet port did not work until I rebooted the MacBook Air and the second was the dock did not connect once when I plugged in the thunderbolt cable. After disconnecting and plugging the cable back in, everything worked great. I also have to admit that I was not a big proponent of thunderbolt when it was first introduced. I was wrong and am now a big fan. I just set up a Windows virtual machine for the Air using Parallels 9 on an external SSD and it works very well and is blazingly fast.
  7. Thanks guys. I'm the blob of pixels 2nd row, just left of center, over the conductor's left shoulder. This stage is bloody amazing! I had some friends come out, and my mom brought the kids, and they came backstage and had a good time. It's been a long day, and a few bobbles in the performance, but man, it was a good day. I went out afterwards and got some dinner with a friend and others on his birthday on a rare night sans-kids. The band is the Mid-South Concert Band, with the Scenic City Chorale in the back. This is our second annual Christmas concert at the Tivoli Theatre. I am still blown away at how good this stage sounds. I can't wait to play here again. I think we had a real photographer up there at one point... this guy's camera phone is "meh" but it's the best I've got so far. I hope some other pics surface soon. **BRENT**
