Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
Now I am confused. I have canceled my order for the Cache for now.

Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
I thought they would fit the ipad inside of the Apple Case because of this post. http://www.tombihn.com/blog/node/1272 I just ordered the one that was an option for the Copilot and said "ipad." I better find out and/or cancel my order before it is too late.

Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
Realizing I could carry the laptop in the Aeronaut, I ordered the Copilot in black (with Absolute strap and ipad cache). I hope to be able to use it as my everyday "purse." It will carry slightly more than the Timbuk2 Freestyle that I have. The big plus for me in the water bottle holder and the fact that it is just large enough to carry a pad a paper. It should be the perfect "personal item" to carry onboard with the Aeronaut. Think I may end up canceling my travel team gator order. I just don't know what I would use it for (except maybe as a camera bag for the DSLR). I like the look of the Timbuk2 Freestyle and TB Copilot more than the Gator (I actually don't like the outside pockets on the Red Oxx bags very much). Any suggestions?

I guess I can stick with my the Timbuk2 Freestyle bag (or Gator when it arrives) as my personal item, for ipad+small camera+other stuff, and stuff cords and laptop in the Aeronaut.

Tom Bihn is fast, my ordered shipped this afternoon! I was looking at the Tom Bihn ID bag to take as a personal item to carry along with the Aeronaut when I need to carry the Macbook Pro (15") on a trip. For those who have one, would this be too big to work as a personal item? I wouldn't be using this for everyday needs as I already have a Chrome Soma for that. However, I think the Chrome bag is too big for a personal item (plus it looks like a backpack which sometimes isn't allowed for personal items) although it does fit underneath the seat. Also, it would be too difficult to carry the the Chrome when using the Aeronaut as a backpack.

Well, I finally made a decision on the bag. Just ordered a Tom Bihn Indigo Aeronaut with an absolute strap, large packing cube, and end packing cube. I plan to also get an Eagle Creek Pack-It Folder 15 and see where things go from there. I was going to get the black or steel colored bag because they looked more professional but then I thought... why would I want to look professional? Isn't that why I went into academics?

2007 Ch. Souverain Cabernet Sauvignon with steak dinner. Before dinner I made an *Anvil* drink, an Aperol Spritz since it almost made it to 70F. I could see myself drinking a lot of these on a HOT summer days (we have a few of them in Houston), it was very refreshing! Aperol Spritz 1.5 oz Aperol 2 oz sparkling wine (Sofia) Orange slice Splash of soda sparkling water [i doubled the recipe because the glass I chose was too big for a single. ]

Spent the last 3 hours filling out my 2010 annual scholarly report for the provost (having to use tethering from my phone since Comcast is working like shit today). At least it is done now.

Must try! Being lazy and having a Wild Turkey rye, Carpano Antica and cherry bitters manhattan. Do try the Norton Reserva Malbec Gene, it is quite the bargain! Nice.

Coffee right now but shared a bottle of Bodega Norton Malbec Reserva 2007 last night with a couple of friends. It liked it a lot (especially for the price of $12.69). I am going to go and 6-12 more bottles of it this weekend.

Just read about the infection Nate, ouch, that sucks! I have psoriasis on my big toenail which basically makes it hurt anytime something is touching on it... I have more than once thought of asking to have the nail removed... but maybe that is not such a great idea after all. @Matt: Hope you get better soon. - And now what did you do TODAY?
