  1. Happy Birthday Mike. We hope to see you on the 14th.

  3. Wow, Xenia and I are so sorry Wayne. All the best buddy.
  4. I don't know exactly where you are at Carl, but we got smacked by Wilma in Deerfield Beach, being that the eye wall came right over us back then. I shit you not, this storm(Irma)was every bit as powerful and we were about 100 miles from the eye. We had multiple streets blocked, and not by shallow rooted Ficus trees; which came down like mad during Wilma, but big, sturdy, deep rooted Florida Oaks. This storm was bad ass here in my complex, and I'm pretty sure a tornado hit down in my community from what I'm seeing and hearing, as we had at least 6 tornado warnings that day. We lost power for 10 days after Wilma, and we only lost power for 2 1/2 days this time around, so I say hats off to FPL for a job well done. I know there are a hundred horror stories for every one of mine, but I can only give you my perspective having gone through both of these formidable storms. I can't imagine what they are going through on the west coast and farther south, my prayers go out to all of them.
  5. Happy Birthday buddy, miss you every day.
  6. RIP Jerry. My childhood says, "Thank You".

  8. I wholeheartedly concur!
  9. Yep, they compliment each other nicely.
  10. After spending the last 3 years with a Traveler V2, I decided I needed a bit more. This arrived today and I just can't seem to wipe the smile off my face. Standard Avenger with periphery ring and upgraded reference 3D arm.
  11. Happy Birthday Mikey!!!!
  12. Shit, I took that hook, line, and sinker. I am happy to be wrong about this though.
  13. Clint Eastwood dies at 87, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVERMIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Again, thanks for all the suggestions. I bumped into a buddy before the party at Total Wine and we collaborated. For general consumption we got Kavanagh, Tullamore Dew(white and green jug), and one other I can't remember. The TD was surprisingly smooth, I drank that all night. We also got the Yellow Spot, Jameson 18 year, and Redbreast 12 CS. The good thing is my buddy was able to take the good stuff home, so I'll get to try that next time I'm over. I'm officially an Irish Whiskey fan.
  15. Yes I do Al, thank you. I've actually learned quite a bit in the last 24 hours talking with you guys, interesting for sure.
  16. I'll be bringing my list with me tomorrow and the Glenfarclas 105 is on it.
  17. Great advice Al, I'm actually leaning in this direction. Total Wine has every one of these, even the RB21($280). I'm thinking GS, YS, and RB15. That puts me right about what I'd pay for the RB21 and he'll be able to spread it around as he chooses. I appreciate all the help guys.
  18. Oops, fixed that and thanks for the suggestion. I think I'm more confused now than I was 10 min ago, which is why I'm here I guess. If you don't mind me asking Aura, what is your preference? Type of whiskey, I mean.
  19. My buddy turns 50 on Saturday and he really likes Irish whiskey. He usually drinks Jameson and doesn't spend exorbitant amounts per bottle. I'd like to get him something really special that's going to make an impression and that he's going to remember. I know Jameson makes some higher end bottles like 12/18 Limited Reserve and Rarest Reserve, but honestly, I just don't know. Do any of the Irish whiskey aficionados here have any experience or suggestions for me in the $200-$300 range, even if it's not Jameson.

  21. Just got this after not listening to the cd in at least 10 years. I'd forgotten how much I liked this album. Sounds real nice and packaging is excellent. Great job Analog Spark!
  22. How did I miss this? Happy Birthday Gene, sorry so late.
