I like the GS-1000s a lot. I bought them when they first came out. They have a colored, romantic sound that gives life and energy to the music. That being said, they are very unique sounding, and I can see how some really don't like them. They can sound horrid in the wrong system or on a recording with nasty highs. With tubes and vinyl the GS-1000 is in it's prime. They fall under the "must listen to first" category without a doubt. I look forward to your impressions of the PS-1000.

Pretty much how I felt. They have a very synthetic sound with very unpleasant highs. And this is coming from a GS-1000 owner That being said, some seemed to like them, so what do I know.
