  1. Didn't know MacBook had upsampling digital out. I only have a lowly iBook (and an iMac - not the current one, but one version before). I'm trying to figure out a way to free up a HDMI or component in on my TV but I don't think I can unless I get a switchbox or something. It's too bad that Apple TV doesn't have VGA out.
  2. I thought about Apple TV, but unfortunately, my TV has neither HDMI or Component input that are open at this moment.
  3. Yes on the first, but no on the second. I'm leaning toward SB3 at this moment for the reason that I don't have to have my iBook to control it. I'm also not in a rush so I can wait for a good deal on a used one for show up - and I'm an idiot for not getting the one PFK had for sale.
  4. I still like this one, too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrVNermSk_A]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrVNermSk_A
  5. I thought you were using one from Twisted Pear Audio?
  6. None - only because I'll e-mail him instead. And another builder will be getting e-mails from me as well. Possibly, especially since mine's only a single-ended version. But does yours have love handles? I didn't think so.
  7. I just talked to my dealer, and they happen to have an open-box 840C in pristine condition with full warranty. So instead of waiting for at least another week and spending $200 more, I just bought the open-box unit. It's getting shipped out today (they have two stores and the one with the open unit is bit too far for me to drive).
  8. Happy Birthday!
  9. I know, I really think it could be great if they do it.
  10. I loved 塊魂. I'm hoping they'll make one for Wii.
  11. Thanks - the DV-50 is gone and I had to replace it with something. In a departure from the norm, I got a silver one so it'll match with my other components.
  12. Will do. Not sure when I'll receive it (my local dealer was out of stock, too) but here's hoping I'll have it soon, but not too soon - I've no amps right now. LOL.
  13. Well, after looking around and not finding anyone who actually has one in stock, I just ordered Cambridge Audio Azur 840C through a local dealer.
  14. I used to wear Chucks all the time. Man, I miss them. I remember when I use to be able to get them for under $20 when I was a kid. Now-a-days, they cost about $40.
  15. Trigon Vanguard II from Zach.
  16. Ian, you must find youself some "audiophile grade" paint to paint your new place! Actually, I'm surprised no one has done it (audiophile grade paint) yet, I mean they already sell pebbles as tweaks.
  17. So are you going to paint your new place with that Chilipepper Red paint?
  18. So my K271 and ER4 filters arrived today from TTVJ. Then I remembered that I also needed ER4 tips. Stupid me.
  19. Congrats, dude! And I concur with Nate's suggestion - mini-meet!
  20. Happy Birthday!
  21. DIY "chassis" work, of course.
  22. Good Eats. Then Red Sox vs. Indians as I fall asleep.
  23. So if everything goes smoothly, when do you expect to get yours?
