If I'm not mistaken, I think he's talking about XR-10B using some chips turn an unbalanced signal into balanced.

Cool! Keep us posted on how you like them (or not like them). Personally, I'm contemplating on getting a pair of K271's again to use them in semi-portable (okay not really) fashion. I miss them very much. -

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't cheap, as Justin would have to re-finish/replace both front and rear panels, on top of populating the rest of the boards and re-wiring everything.

Man, seeing thread like this makes me want to go get RS-1's and have them balanced. Wait, I don't have my balanced amp yet.

I've really been enjoying mine (out of Hornet while I wait for GS-X), especially with female vocals. Love that midrange. They sure do sound nice, btw.
