Spritzer - did you buy your 4070's new or used? I'm pretty set on getting a pair from a US dealer, but was wondering how long it takes for Stax to make them since they are built to order as far as I'm aware.

I used to own them (SR-007) and they sounded rather nice with my KGSS DX. I sure do miss them but I enjoy my vinyl rig more.

Well, here's hoping you actually get yours soon and it sounds so good that it would make all the wait worth it.

That's an option I'm definitely looking at if I go the way of 4070, though I'd have to con, I mean convince, my friend to do the upgrades for me. Keep us posted on how you like, or not like, the 4070's.
