  6. I have heard a difference between the Lynx AES16 and an M-Audio Transit as digital transports. The price gap between the two is huge so I stick with my Transit until I can build a silent PC for the PCI card.
  7. Happy birthday Jacob and happy new year

  11. Anything non-Apple and 23" or 24" (I have searched and haven't found anything by Dell and HP, the usual value leaders)? Good to know that they exist, I wrongly assumed glossy was a no no in the high end panel market.
  12. Does anyone know of any IPS panel monitors that have glossy screens?
  13. I am glad no one said Best Coast. Most over rated album ever.

    Magnepan 1.7

3.7 will be coming out Magnepan Announces the new Magneplanar 3.7
  17. Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladlyland part 1 UK vinyl (Polydor). Pretty awesome alternate cover that was used for the versions of Electric Ladyland that was split into 2 parts. Part 2 has a more boring cover of Jimi's face. Killer sound quality on part 1 and significantly cheaper than what i paid for a first pressing on the Track label.
  18. sacd it's a spicy meatball! Ray Brown FTW
  19. doors strange days dcc vinyl
  20. 2010 was all about classical for me. Lots of great rediscoveries for me, so nothing really new. Lots of Everest, Living Stereos, Mercury, Heifetz and Oistrakh. Picked up quite a bit of it on vinyl too, which I always over looked but finding the right stuff just blows my mind how music so delicate can sound so good with what is basically a sharp rock dragging over a piece of plastic I was disappointed with Arcade Fires new album, which I was hoping to love. The National High Violet was very good, but didn't grab me like their others. The new Deerhunter was great, but grew tired of quickly. There is probably more, but those 3 stand out in my head which is clogged up atm.
  21. Plenty of live clips from the new album on Youtube, and I prefer to listen to them that way since his facial expressions add to the music. And calling pop music bizarre is like my opinion man. Avantgarde metal is perfectly normal
  22. wat has he released other Italian pop albums? I admit I haven't heard everything by him but pretty sure I have heard most of it.
  23. I probably won't be coming back to it too often, a bit bizarre even for Patton. Mostly Italian pop stuff with an orchestra/chorus. Minus the orchestra and chorus section I think it would have been very good, his vocal parts are very very good the rest was superfluous.
  24. classic records 45 rpm vinyl
