Went to work, programmed a bit, bit the gym for the first time in 3 weeks (got my stitches taken out yesterday). Kept it light, more just getting back in the routine. Just got back from a 3 mile run.
That basically happened to me when I was younger. My parents said it was a nightmare trying to calm me down to so that I could actually get the stitches. Hope all is well at home.
Spent the day with my family. Took my mom to her doc, had lunch with my parents, spent the afternoon with my nieces, had dinner with the fam, then watched a movie with my sister and brother in law.
Thanks guys. I tried not to think about it the past few days as there's really nothing you can do except to wait for the results. But none the less, it was a HUGE relief knowing it's not serious.
Found an odd growth on my arm awhile back, went to a derm and was told that it very well could be melanoma. Got a good bit of my skin removed around the are and biopsied. That was pretty damn scary as this just happened on Sunday. Didn't want to post until I got my results. Just got a call from the doc and everything's all good! Just sucks I'm out of commission for any physical activities. I just started training for the NYC biathlon too. I'm hoping to be able to run again in another week, lift by the end of the month.
So I went out and had an awesome lunch with some friends to celebrate.
