Dang, Shelly. That's a rather dedicated effort to find the owners. Kudos to you for trying, and bad on them for not really caring. Al, if I remember right, the Hunahpu was the hit of the beer festival in Tampa. Enjoy.

Another CD from the not-so-recent buying binge. I love Diamanda Galas, but this is soooo not bedtime music. I know better. Eeek.- What did you do today?
I'll wear a costume if Tyll wears one.- What did you do today?
I like it. Do I get to wear costumes?- What did you do today?
Nope. Not even queen of my own universe. It's funny how as soon as you start thinking that you know more than the next guy, your needs are more important than others' needs, and your version of the right thing to do doesn't need to take into account that no one else agrees, the world slaps you upside the head the heart to remind you that you're just an average jerk. I'm abdicating queendoms. Plebedom is safer and more rewarding.- Sleeping position
Hopeful avatar there, GPH.- What are you listening to Part Two
More Warren Ellis: Dirty Three - ST Indian Love Song and Everything's Fucked are gorgeous.- What are you listening to Part Two
Ric, you might want to check this out: It's a two CD set with a selection of compositions from their movies and documentaries. It's a bit too much for me, but good stuff. I started digging around this weekend in the glut of cd I bought in a binge a couple of months ago, but then never got around to hearing. Kinda keeping with the Warren Ellis theme, I really love this CD: Low and Dirty Three - In the Fishtank- What did you do today?
Well, he could have certainly been written up for inappropriate grabbing/mouthing of my breasts, and after being denied, taking out his frustration by pulling my hair viciously while squealing. I'd say we're even. All and all, though, it was a strange, fun day at work, and I was surprisingly productive. I'm not exactly the maternal sort, but every now and then, it's nice to have a wee one around to remind you that you're not even being close to being the Queen of the Universe, that there are more important things than answering the phone on the first ring, rasberries on the belly are good, doing the twist is fun, and bouncy chairs are the best. His father just picked him up, so he's done for the day. His mother and nanny are sick, so I may have him one more day. It's kinda cool that my workplace lets families put their kids first in emergencies, and having him here was viewed as a good thing by my bosses. It was a nice day.- What did you do today?
So do I. Fortunately, my new assistant remains unfazed, yet another good sign. Also, this oatmeal food stuff is good. Knocked him right out for a nap.- What did you do today?
He's very talented, and I'd rate him above average for effort.- What did you do today?
v n nhj i7n mjbyuh nmy nh./, oiuljk ,njm n That is my 5-month old assistant typing. Long story, but he's mine for the day. So far, his skill set involves ripping paper, drooling on the keybord, smashing at it with great joy, and thunderous, stinking farting. I think we'll get along just fine.- The NHL 2010 playoffs thread
Serious weird penalty calls on both sides throughout. I wonder how the game might have been.- The NHL 2010 playoffs thread

Intense first period Wings/Sharks. I gotta say that the Sharks are outplaying the Wings right now, but that first Sharks pp goals should never have happened. I'm not really one to complain about ref calls, but goalie interference, my arse. PP should never have happened. Great acting job on Nabakov's part.- What are you listening to Part Two
Soulsavers - It's not how far you fall, it's how you land- What did you do today?
Stephen, nice with the neighbors, but very cool on the workbench, even moreso since your great grandfather made it. My twin brother inherited my grandfather's workbench and all his tools (my grandfather was into woodworking, and building ship models from his own imagination and drawings), and he since finished a couple projects that were left undone when my grandfather died. It's special knowing its history.- The NHL 2010 playoffs thread
