Game getting nasty. Actually think the Pens were faster, better in the first period, despite the B's goal, but the Bruins were frustrating the crap outta the Pens in the 2nd. Great game.

Only caught the end of 3rd of Hawks/Kings, but from right from the puck drop, this Bruins/Penguins game is exciting.

Parris, I have everything figured out except the saddle. I'm starting with a B17 since I know I can ride that saddle forever, but knowing me, I'll mess around a bit. I do like the Fizik Vitesse on my Calfee, but I've not done more than 60 miles on it, and I do ride a bit forward on it. It's not perfect, but good enough. I'm looking for perfect Nate......or you could come to Florida for a visit and try out our long, straight, flat, smooth road with few stop lights.

I do like your paint job a lot, but........

A1A is a long, flat, straight road with really smooth pavement. There are long sections with maybe one or two traffic lights. Stronger riders in a group can average more on this road than I'm guessing in most places, so it can't really be compared. On a more important note, I spoke to Joe Bell today!!!!! We've agreed on general paint scheme, and I'm giving him creative license to turn the general idea into what he thinks will look best. It's going to be another two weeks to a month (he has a camping trip planned, and my bike may sneak in right before, or it'll be a week after he returns). I'm both excited and a wee bit nervous.

Wow. If the Wings win, it will be all bitching about how it shouldn't have gone down that way, even though the Wings deserve this game, especially after their 3rd period play. Messed up situation.

^ Right now, both teams are playing well. Good hockey to watch unless your team is playing. It's anyone's game, and may just come down to a lucky shot at the right time. What the heck happened to Filppula? Wings need him. Arrgh...just read that he was seen on crutches. Not good if true.

Stupid Wings better stop being stupid. Game 7 tonight.

It's the flatland around here. A lot of people, the more serious riders, ride well above 24 mph in the group rides. They blow by me every weekend, making me look like I'm in a parking lot when I'm feeling all proud of myself for going around 20. None of these women are pros, just recreational riders, though some race.

I swiped it off a facebook post. What was nicest about the ride was being with so many strong women. Over half those in the pic were in the 24 mph+ group, where I'll never be. There are hundreds of cyclists on A1A every weekend. Usually you see large groups of men with a woman or two riding with them. It was just fun to be a part of a mostly women's ride.

I took a rest day, but did sign up for this year's Tour of Sebring. John, Mike, Raffy, your presence is mandatory. I suggest that anyone interested in three days of cycling with your choice of distance in really nice, rural, rolling hill country with great weather sign up. The hotel is old and crappy, but it's cheap, and it was really fun last year. Could even be a first headcase cycling meet. Labor Day Weekend is far enough away to plan. http://tourofsebring.com/
