After doing some digging, I think I'm going to get this laptop cooler, which is kind of similar to Dusty's. It has a 200mm fan, which should move a decent amount of air without making a racket.

My 2011 MBP runs too goddamn hot all the time, especially in this sucktastic weather. I am in need of a good laptop stand/cooler device. Any HCers have suggestions on makes/models?
