  1. I'm using a Spyderco Sharpmaker. Completely idiot proof as it sets the angle for you. I always wanted to try japanese water benchstones (especially for my kitchen knives), but i'm simply too lazy...
  2. I never liked the look as well. Until i got my hands on an Endura knife. And when you have them in hand, it suddenly makes a bit more sense. But i'm still more into sleek look and thumbstuds myself as well Which Osbourne do you carry? I'm currently edc'ing a 930 Osbourne myself. Absolutely brilliant knife!
  3. Exactly my thoughts as well. Combo Edges have the tendency to anoy me pretty fast, especialy when it's a shorter blade. A good, sharp plain edge can cut as well or better in most situations. (Except you only want to cut ropes and bred;)) My favorite locking system as well. Damn nice for fast opening and closing in everday situations. And your fingers don't have to cross the path of the closing blade at all, as they have to do with liner- and backlocks. I was a bit sceptical about the durability of the omega spring (which pushes the locking bar to the front), but i have yet one to fail on me.
  4. Knifes from Spydercos Byrd line are around that price point and are considered a very good value. Like the Cara Cara or the Robin For just a little more you should definetly take a look at the Spyderco Tenacious. Very good handling, full flat grinding (makes for nice cutting abilities) and super sharp right out of the box.
  5. Well, i think it's all about what one is used to. Here in Germany Popcorn is nearly always sweet, so you grow up with it. When i was in the States i bought a bag of honey butter popcorn, believing it was sweet. ( I mean honey and salt?...) Imagine my suprise when i spit the first bite all over the floor....
  6. That would have been me I found a reference to head-case in a thread about some amp (can't remember the model anymore) over at postjacks forum, two weeks or so before the crash. I doubt that it has been there for long....
  7. But, but, don't you NEEED the RSA Tomahawk for IEMs? After all the IEM-fairy has told little Ray a special secret to make his little wonder something special for IEMs.....
