Some quick calculations of the 300LE upgraded with a 700 headband and leather pads, and the costs are close to each other's. I'm wondering, is the 300LE very close to the 700, or far apart as the price difference between the two suggests?

Will the plain SR-009 be dropped by Stax? Maybe the upside is that it will be offered at a lower price.

I wonder what's HFM's track record on amps ? From their website on the Shang system... I'm no expert but I thought resistors should be soldered flushed to the board?

The local HK dealer told me that they will bundle the L300Ltd with the amp (gold plaque 353XBK) when they them get in, and that if I just want the headset I'd have to wait indefinitely because they might not even sell them unbundled.
