These Onstage stands are not so great so I think I will need to get something better. Are there any good options for a tiny keyboard and a large keyboard stacked?

Finding the Deluge to be a blast, even for someone with no musicilogical talents. Mostly just stacking clips and taking them back off.

Got the keylab today. Much nicer to have the extra keys, but I actually like the feel of my Yamaha Digital and the Moog a bit better. As far as I can tell the pads on the Keylab are the same ones as on the Minilab MKII. Are these better than the ones on the Deluge Iain? I need to get the real stand in for the Keylab MKII as it is sitting on a crappy synth stand now and I could not really use the pads without getting bounce and vibration from the stand.

So do you guys have the V series or whatever and full Analog labs? The little keyboard only came with Lite so I am trying to figure out if I upgrade to full Labs and V. Does not appear I can get the vintage Roland synths there but I am not sure.

I am trying to get my head around the bizarre function of Ableton Live. I think 70% of the time it is all down to luck whether or not something works or not when using the software. Everything about it seems like it was designed to make you go through extra hoops to do simple things.

I think I am going to need a different desk. Definitely a stand on the side. The On Stage one I ordered does not fit the Moog well so I guess it will be for the other beep boop machines.

Don’t you normally need a spacer when you are using a 10 speed drivetrain on 11 speed wheels?

I have actually read a lot about Pro Tools working poorly with PCs. Not really using any Macs these days, so reluctant to try it. I would not think that Vintage King would loan anything to just anybody and they seem to be out of stock. I also realize that while they look small, Both of the Footprints are actually larger than the Stealths.

Historically I record audio directly into Audition and then sync audio and video in Premiere Pro. Not sure I would be bringing video into ProTools as it would probably make everything much more complicated. I am primarily looking at them for the size. I need to downsize from what is sitting there now the old Emotiva Stealth 6. With mic arms, c stands and cameras everywhere the 6s are too big and the constant hiss is annoying this close.

Might try the free one from Pro Tools to see if even it is overkill for what I am doing. Also, does anyone have the Barefoot Studio Monitors? I am just looking at the cheap ones, but I can only find reviews of their expensive stuff.

I have used Pro Tools before, but I think Reaper, the one for poor people, might be the best as I am just doing spoken voice.

What DAW is everyone using? Is ProTools still the way to go these days?

Looks like the Moog Beep Boop is shipping directly from Moog on that slow Donkey. Going to open this one immediately so it does get thrown away/recycled like the Teenage Engineering OP-1 apparently did.
