  1. Yes, the "comfy pads" are the ones found on the SR 60. Most recommend cutting a hole the size of a quarter in each one. Haven't seen the type of pad that the OP is looking at before (says they are sold out anyway). The C pads from Headphile are WAY more expensive. Not saying they aren't worth more, just saying they are a lot more.
  2. Only found out about these by accident. HERE! not on HF. Hadn't been to either site for a while...and bam! ordered mine on 7/9, I lucked out. I hope some of those on HF are having some cheese with their "whine" about the engraving issue. Hope mine are 1derful.
  3. I agree with aRc. I believe the upgrade path is the way to go. I have upgraded my rotel rcd-971, and gilmore dynamic headamp V2SE with distinct improvements in sound quality, at a price that would not have purchased a "better" source. If you like the sound of your source but want "more", consider upgrading. I know, I use too many quotation marks. HA!
