Well, I'm finally getting around to moving to the new computer that I bought last summer.  I'd appreciate it if you could recommend virus/malware checkers for Windows 10 Home Edition.  The information available on line is somewhat contradictory.  I'd definitely trust the info I'd get here that what's out there.

Free or Paid?

Free, I use AVG Free in several places, and Avast also gets high ratings often.

Paid: ESet NOD32, Vipre are two of my top contenders, combination of protection and lightweight resources

I'm sure others will have just as good recommendations, but those I've had direct experience or know folks who do (and who's opinions I generally trust)

Been using nod32 for almost a decade now.
