I really wish I had seen the original Audiogon ad for them sooner, though. By the time I saw it, it was too late. Stupid work/class.

What was the deal?

I think it was vintage RS-1s for HP-2s or PS-1s.

He wanted to trade an old style RS-1's (with brown headband, possibly original flats -though disintegrating, w/o any packaging) for PS-1 or HP-2's, and he'd add some cash depending on the conditions of the cans. He had bought them off A-gon for $475.

Though he's retracted them now that he doesn't want to simply sell them.
