January 18, 200818 yr comment_88647 I'm tying to find reasons to buy the pico, but the limiting factor is that it only takes usb so is there some wierd thing that converts optical or coax spdif signals to usb? Probably not Report
January 18, 200818 yr comment_88657 may as well throw some pine cones and twigs in there for flavor Report
January 18, 200818 yr comment_88682 maybe m-audio sells something for the dj / recording type? I seriously doubt such a thing exists. For DIY possibilities, how about one of these: http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/pcm2707.pdf ^^ ^^ dunno what I'm smoking ... please ignore Report

Probably not No, don't, just get something else. The target market is for people who want to use it straight out of the USB. I think. Report
January 18, 200818 yr Author comment_88699 the only thing I dislike about the use of usb only is that I hate being tied down to my computer all the time. When I'm listening to music before I sleep, I dont want to stare at a bright ass laptop screen when I'm changing songs Report

January 18, 200818 yr Author comment_88865 so either get an aex + cheap pda or get an older squeezebox (per nates suggestion ) or get used to huge screens in front of my face when I want to listen to music. I'll figure something out Report
January 18, 200818 yr comment_88867 well i use frontrow with my Airport Express. I guess i could utilize my iPhone too, but since my macbook has a remote and all, frontrow just works. course it's a little different when you don't use a mac. Report
January 18, 200818 yr comment_88868 Or don't have line of sight, which the aex makes easy . Putting the AEX away from the mac, means you could need to control a remote mac. Report
