April 15, 200818 yr http://www.naim-audio.com/products/supernait.html Integrated Amp (80wpc) with built in DAC. A multitude of digital and analog inputs. Price tag ~$5000. Out of my league but looks like fun. Anybody here heard one?
April 15, 200818 yr I have, with Wilson Sophia IIs Sounds damn good with my iriver optical out as source. But I have no idea if its worth it compared to whatever else is $5000. The more expensive Naim gear (I dont remember what it was but it was a seperate power and preamp with its own power supply) definitely sounded better with the Sophias. Since I'm a total noob with shitty ears and shittier gear , dont take what I say seriously
April 15, 200818 yr Naim gear has a distinct signature that is probably polarizing. My friend has the $15000 CDP (I believe one down from the super expensive 555) and it's very pleasing, not stereotypical digital sound.
