And I'm pretty sure 909 started it- it was asking about potentiometer replacements for a Moth amp. There were a a lot of suggestions in that thread, which then went off topic with marijuana jokes. Does anyone remember this thread? I've used every possible search string I could think of and I still can't find it. Admins- any way of checking if it was deleted by accident? edit: I suppose the real thing I wanted out of that thread was where I could buy an ALPS RK40 from. I do think that the pot is the most often overlooked part of any "pre amp" which is why I admire companies like Spectral which used the RK40 and Accuphase, Denon, Sony and etc. which used the RK50.
