Andrew Wyeth, Famed and Infamous Artist, Dies

Not often a fan of realism but I really like his work. It doesn't just evoke the thing depicted even though it still does that well. Anyway, rest in peace, and to hell with the critics.

Thanks for posting this, his work has had a strong influence on my own.

I dunno. I think critics get a bad rap. Most people find emerging artists through them directly or indirectly.
