Then the gsm version will be available on AT&T to anyone willing to spend the money within a week of that ;)

I think I read that the German version that's coming out won't/doesn't have US GSM bands which makes it useless?

FYI Palm announced the Palm Pre Plus today, it's Verizon exclusive available on Jan. 25th. Storage is bumped up to 16gig and they appear to have made a few other smaller changes to the hardware (the center button is gone and the slider function seems improved).

Couple other Pre related announcements, full 3d games coming soon and an official mobile hotspot app from Palm.
