Got the new custom skid plate in for the WFO so I might need to try it out this weekend. I am however getting closer to my goal of 100 miles in December (79 Miles after today) so I may have to stay on the road bike this weekend.

All this mountain biking talk has me wanting to hit the trails this weekend. Those creek crossings might be a bit rough though.

Best Christmas decoration ever... Got this as an email today. Accompanying text: "Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after 2 days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories, but two things made me take it down. First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost had an accident when they drove by. Second, a 55 year-old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder and almost killed herself putting it against my house because the old broad didn't realize he was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard." I'm not so sure about the 55 year-old lady being an "old broad" but maybe I'm showing my age...

Wow, I dunno what to say. I didn't realize Cincinnati was an amish university.

Wired everything up just because I'm an impatient twit. Even without the cabinets they sound pretty freaking nice. I thought the low sensitivity would have been an issue but I under estimated my listening distance and the amps power output. I can't go over 9 o clock without getting uncomfortable. The whole thing is starting to work out nicely

Thanks, Mikey. Pittston is right near Shamokin, where my grandfather worked the mines before landing a job with the Reading RR. The picture of the mountain of coal with the breaker (inclined structure where large pieces of coal were broken up) looked just like the old mine there.
