70,000 tons of metal was insanely good. Great concerts, great people, and partying with rock stars. On a boat. I got drunk a fair bit and didn't sleep much. I'll post video later of Alaric crowdsurfing in the hot tub mosh pit during Hammerfall's set. The dad of the year awards committee might not like it much, but he had so much fun.

the stax mafia are definitely planning on a multibit dac. Problem is finding switches good enough (and fast enough) to do 24 bits, 1/2 lsb

I sometimes buy individual stocks. I know going in it's straight up gambling, and it's money I can afford to lose 100% of.

some people think an awful lot about gambling. The problem with individual stocks is it's almost impossible as an individual investor to have all the information, the game is pretty rigged.

Earlier today I followed Jacob's advice of a longer stew time with more liquid and lower temperature, and the stew beef came out much more tender. I had also left it in a bath with more orange juice than previously.

The show was awesome Chris. An opening set of his solo work, followed by a second set of Gabriel era Genesis stuff. After the Ordeal, Cinema Show, Musical Box and more. The encore was another solo piece followed by an excellent version of Firth of Fifth. Great band, decent vocalist and Hackett was very much on his game as far a guitar was concerned. I left fully satisfied that I had seen a show that was the closest I would ever get to seeing Genesis in the '70's.

This is probably a little different to the cars that most here are interested in, but someone did ask for pics so I thought I'd add it because it's a cool shot. Tuning this is my day job. It runs in Top Alcohol Funny Car in Australia. Has run a best elapsed time of 5.410 @ 267 mph:
