  1. I like hamburgers but I have no clue what that refers to.
  2. Just get a pico but in order to continue posting here you better get a Mac. Hey, and other new guy, I am not sure you want to go around touting Ray's stuff... just sayin'.
  3. Well they should really fix their website; mutes deserve good gear too!
  4. Happy Birthday!
  5. Got a pair of PS500's in the mail!

Earlier this week, I was trying to order the Apex Peak/Volcano from Todd's website and I couldn't change any of my personal information (including password, address which happens to be incomplete for some reason). I just gave up and decided that it probably meant that I shouldn't get the P/V right now. Anyone have similar problems? Do certain browsers work or do I actually have to use the phone to make an order.
  7. I recently "found" my ESW9's (for some reason, I thought I had sold them). They're nice little cans.
  8. Lots of nice bottles everyone! More Pibb for me (although this time spiked with a little rum).
  9. I should obviously get the GS-X (yep, would fit perfectly on my stand).
  10. Nice John! I do like distilled spirits from Kentucky. I brought some Rain for one of my Russian friends and he was very impressed (although he didn't say that it might be a little too smooth ). Anything made with bison grass doesn't sound too good.
  11. Isn't TS a mono where TRS is stereo? I am confused what kind of cable I would need to connect the ULN-2 to the GS-1.
  12. Congrats on Griottines Dinny! What's in the shipment? Lots of work to do tonight so it is Mr. Pibb for me.
  13. Isn't that usually a plus?
  14. The ULN-2 would be the perfect size I think; it would fit on my "amp stand" and under the GS-1. The ULN-2 is slightly shorter than the GS-1 in depth but I think it would still be ok.
  15. You just sound confused John.
  16. Hmmmmm, I could wait a couple of months.
  17. The only thing I am worried about the Apogee is background noise. I remember that the One had a bit of noise. Not sure if that was from the headphone output or... How black is the background on the ULN-2? Could I use it with GS-1 and JH13 with a perfectly quiet background? Also, where do you get a pair of decent TRS -> RCA cables? I didn't see any at BJC.
  18. So what is the verdict on this DAC? Still getting a lot of love? I want to get a new source for the desktop setup: Mac -> Pico DAC -> GS-1 -> whatever. I had the Parasound 1500 but it took up to much space. The Pico is a good DAC and I am not sure if I buy a random DAC that it is going to be all that much better than it. Seems like there is a lot of love for the ULN-2 though. Is the firewire going to work with Thunderbolt? My MBP currently has firewire but I am not so sure that will be the case in the future. Also, the Air doesn't have firewire.
  19. Don't you think a truck would be more appropriate in Texas? Don't you think the colors should be switched? I mean, do you think a butch would want to carry around such a fem yellow bag?
  20. None of my Bihn bags have come with neon lights! I've been jipped.
  21. Hmm, according to the internet, it seems the only thing I am missing is a flannel shirt.
  22. I'll work on it.
