My B-stock pair (SN# 575, the last pair) arrived today. It looks like whatever Grado used for the lettering got "smeared" on the metal cups. Almost like I could buff it out. Here is picture: Now more importantly, the sound. I haven't heard many Grados, only wooded 225s, late model RS1 stock & balanced and GS1000. I have never liked them. I'm sure it helps that I finally found the system I like but damn I'm glad I bought these. I've listened to some acoustic guitar and now the Decemberists and I like what I'm hearing so far

Nice, I had a T3 that I used corner-loaded in a small living room setup (hardwood floors, one open wall) and it was amazing. Beat the shit out of the 12" Klipsch I had before. You will be happy. How are you hooking it up?

I love my 320 which is basically the same as the 325 without the "MP3" input on the front . Really a steal for the money IMO. (Thanks again Nate for recommendation.)

You just described the only things standing in my way of dumping my MacbookPro for an iPad + Mac Mini. If Apple can address the Flash/HTML5 and downloaded content issues I'll be placing a pre-order/waiting in line at my local Apple store for a 64 GB 3G iPad. I'm sure I'll eventually pick up an iPad even if Apple hasn't addressed these issues. I just won't be in a hurry to get one and I would most likely opt for the 16/32 GB model instead.

I called and talked to Todd to see if he was taking phone orders due to the internet traffic killing his site. I didn't think he would, which I undertand. He feels awful about the whole thing. I told him not to as it wasn't anything he could control. I can't beleive some of the fucking idiots slamming Todd on the HF-2 thread.

Bump ... I'm going to be using a GS-1 for a preamp so I'm in the market for a small amp. I'd like to know more about this Monarchy and Micro comparison you both posted about. Morphsci, what were the power supply upgrades for the Micro?
