i'm assuming he pours a dram:)... tonight I've had Tröegs Flying Mouflan, Goose Island Fleur, Hoppin Frog Frost Frog Christmas Ale, Saint Somewhere Lectio Divina & now a Presidente Cerveza Tipo "Pilsener" from the Dominican Republic...truly awful...beyond words...

if you lot hadn't noticed, season 1 episode 7 is on the interwebs...it was aired on HBO Go (which I don't get even though I have HBO--they haven't yet inked a deal with TWC/Brighthouse)...anywho, hit up bittorrent if you wanna see it...best watched on a mobile or a laptop...

FFF Evil Power, FFF Blackheart (which finally hit Indy shelves)...& um...had some wild cherry Pepsi...heh...quiet night of tv watching... by the by...for all you Chicagoans...word on the street is that Goose Island Clybourn (not part of Anheuser-Goose) is going to tap Founders Canadian Breakfast at some point Wednesday... if you go by prior tappings in the area, it'll last < 1 hour... good news is, if you miss it, Founders plans to put it in 750mL bottles soonish:)...they've said that they'll release Blushing Monk first, but CBS could be next... cheers...

Sun King Cupcake's Revenge Bourbon Barrel & Tart Cherry Aged Double Chocolate Stout...a lot going on here...all of it good:)... Sun King Wee Muckle Scottish Style Wee Heavy...basically their Wee Mac doubled...definitely approve of this... Sun King/FFF Three Kings American Pale Ale...as good as I remembered... FFF Arctic Panzer Wolf Giant IPA....splendid...I love what they do with IPAs... all on tap...long walk home...

the Dark is quite good...these were batch 3...I think there are still some batch 2s out there in bigger bottles...very high abv....I'd sooner compare the two Dark batches if I had it to do over again...

over the weekend Sun King & Hoosier Beer Geek had another Tailgate for Nothing event... my buddy Ross was there sharing Colt 45 Blast!...I wish I could capture the correct color of that one...it's really something... I setup my little table with various Cigar City brews...that's Marron Acidifie (collab with The Bruery), Papaya IPA, Big Sound, Improvisacion, Vuja De & Sea Bass...then, later, we opened up a Bolita Brown... wish I had taken more pics whilst making the rounds...I had some Upland Dantalion, Balls Hop Extremecy, Flat12 Vanilla Porter, Alaskan Smoked Porter (yum), & a number of beers that'll probably come to me later... someone brought over a New Glarus Gueuze, Golden Ale & IIPA:)... I decided to stage a Nøgne Ø Horizon tasting...the consensus seemed to be the Dark was best followed by the Sweet then the Red...they're not really comparable, though...they vary from batch to batch & the Red uses sake yeast...
