I used to bring out my bullshit meter whenever I heard Wavelength Audio mentioned. And then I read about Rankin's work instead of taking what people say for the truth, making judgments from the prices and past experiences, as well as being wary of the over-enthusiasm attributed to fanboys and the creator himself. My bullshit meter no longer comes out so easily with Wavelength. The "sell your kidney for the best" meter comes out. It also comes out whenever I see Atma-sphere and Kondo mentioned.
