Big fan of Oris here, Archimede too. Both are great values. Oris also uses the Sellita SW200, which is a slightly more decorated 2496-2. But yeah, for anything watches, I'd suggest the WatchUSeek forums.

I think it's sexy. I wish I had a headphone store 1/1000 of that quality here.

I can tell you that, IMO, the GS1000s thoroughly suck for electric guitar.

Nothing is inherently bad with ALAC, as far as I know. I'd just rather not have to convert my huge flac library into ALAC.

I like my AD700s! Hehe, I was thinking about the W5000, but the polarizing opinions have made me a bit worried.

I had a pair of Ultrasone PRO 900 for a while, and I like them very much. I ended up returning them because I decided they were far too large for portable, but I liked them still. I ended up only getting to hear them with ~100 hours of burn-in, but I thought they were by far in a way the most involving headphones I had ever had. I still want to pic up another pair, now that I don't need portable.
