The heresy is shite compared to the Cornwall. The cornwall has real bass down to the 30s, and nothing kicks like a 15". Only issue was the freaking size. Best speaker I ever had with my moth, very special combo. The altec horns are even bigger and crazier.

The 650s are a nice can. I wouldn't say they are neutral either but they have a nice natural quality to it. I feel similar about the hp1000s. I don't think they are as neutral and transparent as people make them out to be but it has a nice live natural quality to the sound.

Mywi 4.0 will give you tethering capabiity. For my wifi only iPad it's a must. Comes with free trial but is pricey at $20. Better than AT&T $40 a month tethering plan. I was reading about wifi sync. Allows you to sync your phone with iTunes wirelessly. Why that isn't already a feature I don't know but it sounds good.

Jailbreaked my 3GS. Downloaded free demo of mywi 4.0. Allows phone to tether 3G connection. I can now hook up my wifi only iPad anywhere with my iPhone 3G connection. Sweet.

Pondering jail breaking my 3GS. Still trying to figure out if the cydia apps available make it worth it or not. Feel free to chime in with some of your favorites. The only thing I could think of using would be the mywi one that allows tethering.

It's scary how these threads all combined yet they seem to talk about the same darn thing. What is even more amazing is that the responses actually make sense and go together. I vote that we sticky this thread, and any new choose headphone threads we just lump in here. Okay.

I got my recite back on Monday. The problematic right side fits perfectly. Passed goofy smile test and everything! However, te left side, which was very good before, is now worse. There was some squelching in the left side which I had noted, and now te squelching is worse. It occurs with any jaw movement or opening of the mouth, and in general feels looser than the other side. My guess is that the bore needs to be dipped another time or two to make it thicker. J had noted that before but for some reason the bore feels like it was grinder down andade thinner. Jaime gave me to go to send them in again so hopefully it works out.

Ah yes, the bass has a nice taut quality without being too thick or over bloated. Thin cable ftmfw

Yeah, seeing how smooth and functionally sound the 3GS is compared to my old 3G, even before os4 slowed it to a crawl, it truly is a superior device. I bought the 3G when they were offering it for $99 right at the onset of the 3GS coming in and I guess I got what I paid for. I LOVE the multitasking. Really easy to use. Double click and bamn you can do whatever you want. Noice.
