The tpu case from pcimicrostore was definiitely my #2 choice.

Next time I am at the local apple store if there are any cases I can pick one up if needed.

I've been happy wit the apple case. Very slim, nice grip, simple, and the stand is rally nice.

Yeah cause the 3GS actually has the processing power to open a camera and messages within a second. My 3G was slow as molasses before and it appears to be a little above molasses right now. I won't even bother jail breaking the darn thing because I could not imagine actually multitasking on the 3G, it is just too darn slow

iTunes is pissing me off. My iPhone is currently synced to the iTunes library of a laptop we plan on trashing. Well just activate home sharing you say and transfer your iPhone apps to the iTunes library of our current laptop. Well the bonjour service on the old laptop is deactivated and iTunes won't let me do home sharing. Oh okay so just go to contol panel admin services and reactivate bonjour. No go, error message won't allow it, and I've already opened up the ports in firewall to allow it to go through and it is showing their are no exceptions for bonjour. Crappy

Yes. Easily. Oh, found a nice cool little thing with OS4. I noticed that it added notes folders to my email accounts. Well when I wrote a note in the notes app, it automatically updates to the notes folder of your primary default email account. Pretty cool

Installed OS 4. Definitely like the unified mailboxes. Actually seems to make my ghetto 3G a little snappier, though it's obvious the new OS is meant to take advantage of the 3GS power. I'm happy.

You and me brother Edit for random iPhone help. I have my iPhone currently synced to another iTunes library and would like to have it synced with a different one. How do i go about doing that without losing the current stuff on my current I.phone?

Woo hoo! Same here. Mine was still within the 14 day return window, and I made sure to clarify that it was NOT a refurb.

I think wih the iPad it is easier and cheaper for them just to give you a new replacement. That is what they did with mine. Each apple store has a couple of brand new replacements in a special service box, or they should have some, for that reason.

That sucks, but glad you will get a replacement. I had to get my original one replaced as the wifi was buggy.

speedtest clocked 9.71 mbps download, 2.98 upload. Not too shabby. Maybe I should start downloading movies and music and stuff to actually take advantage of it.

Elnero, they look great. Good call on the lettering and color. Les gar ten, at least what I heard on the universal demos the 16's have more bass and that's about it. So it just comes down to your music and listening preferences. The 16's did feel kind of clubbish which may be your thing.

What's the approximate wait time on delivery from the time your status is updatex with ear molds received? That was last Thursday the 10th, the FAQ says five days, but my order number is definitely a bit away from where i believe they are at currently. No rush, just curious.

I truly could care less about the 4 but the 3GS is a much better device than the 3G. Adding further insult to injury is that the 3G cannot do multitasking on the new OS but the 3GS can.

No idea, I think radioshack will do a trade in value of a perfect 3G for $100, but that is store credit, and my early upgrade price for the 3GS is a nice $299

For some odd reason I must be the only person whose upgrade date has not been moved up. It has been a little bit past exactly a year since I purchad my 3G. My original upgrade date was set for 2/17, which is about 1.5 years. I am thinking they are being very strict about my upgrade date since I purchased the $99 3G special, and want to maximize the money gained on the length of contract before they will let me upgrade. I've talked to customer service and two dealers, and it appears I am stuck until 2/17. I would be happy going to the 3GS as my 3G is truly slow as molasses.
