Yeah, me too. Weird, I can actually surf the web and open text messages without the machine crashing down.

I have a drinking problem...can't figure out what to drink...

They have some three floyds stuff as well, the alpha king on tap and bottled might be nice to try. Don't think their topless wytch is ready but it is coming up soon. Pooh just saw Robert the Bruce on bottle, tonight is looking good. -
Funny that we are hesitant to software update. I thought software updates were supposed to be a good thing...only apple Edit: update improves wifi connectivity issues and other bugs. My first iPad had major wifi issues but I had it replaced with a new one. I believe if you still have one of those ipads with the reported wifi issues this update fixes it. Anyone that plans on or already has a jail broken iPad should NOT update.

Yeah man, the place is serious. Their stouts are excellent, last time I was there I had one that apparently they utilized an up sided down brewing process, have no idea what that means but it was good. Will definitely have an imperial tonight in your honor. -

Yup for windows users there is a folder just for your mobile apps. In fact you can save those on an external drive, copy them to another computer and putting them in your automatically add folder will add them...automatically. That is how I transferred some of the mobile apps downloaded on my dinosaur laptop which wouldn't share wirelessly with my new laptop, just hard transferred them over.

Let us know what you think when it comes in.

I am curious to play with the multitasking. I do like the unified mailboxes and that the notes app syncs with your primary mailbox.

Any 3GS users having issues with os4? Mike is selling me one of his numerous leftover stock from his iphone4 transition so in the event it has the old os, and whether I should upgradd to 4 or not. By all accounts it seems us 3G users have had the issues with os4 as it is too slow but the 3GS should be powerful enough to handle it.

I have finally finished all 142 pages of this thread, and here are some random musings. 1) half of the posts having nothing to do wihh JHA or IEMS 2) of the remaining posts, at least a quarter involve monkey asking questions about the jh13, saying he wasn't going to get them but was simply curious. 3) another quarter of on topic posts involve others telling monkey to just buy them already 4) it was accurately predicted that Colin would win a set of JHA iems at can jam 5) as mentioned before dusty predicted the jha3 6) a lot of people apparently hate this thread 7) people that ended up hating this thread ended up buying a set a good chunk of people did end up shipping them back for refits, with the right ear being the dominant issue by far 9) the jh13s have been a major factor in people selling off some top quality headphones and/or complete entire rigs That's about it.

My baby will be around one month old, so no go for me!

Is this some kind of diversion technique? Because I want to go to Canfest!!!

Shipped mine out today, ah withdrawal. I have read the so far 81 pages of this thread in trying to catch up and I am happy that I sucked it up and sent it in for modifying the fit as they truly sound fantastic and these will be soemthing I will use a lot.

I believe the software update is simply going to recalibrate how the bars are displayed. So instead of -50db being the threshold for 5 bars, maybe they make it to -100db so that people will stop complaining of losing bars.

Apparently. Again the goofy ass smile test is infallible. The left remains solid but my right pops out. Got a reply back from Adam, very nice and was confident he could take care of it. Plan on sending them out this week.
-
Still sounding great. The sense of realism is startling and the sound staging is better than any IEM I have ever heard, I do not get the in your head blob effect. However I am sure I need to send them in for a refit unfortunately. The right ear specifically. The upper part of the IEM, that one that forms a lock with the part of your ear they call the "helix" doesn't quite lock in, and makes it stick out a bit further than the perfectly helix locked left IEM. The right IEM in general looks thicker and bulkier, not as cleanly cut as the left IEM which is weird, especially around the upper part of the iem. The bores could probably be thickened just a bit as well to provide a tighter seal and stay put, especially the right ear since I can pop it out by turning my head to the right or doing the goofy ass smile test. They do sound fantastic as long as I am looking straight on and not doing funky goofy shit with my face or mouth. So I am happy with my purchase and hopefully Adam and crew can take care of my refit, I sent an email over the weekend and would imagine they get back in the office Tuesday. Edit: the part of my ear I am referring to is actually called the concha according to wikipedia and yahoo. The helix is the outer part of the ear, the anti helix is the prominent part that runs parallel with it, and that cavity under the anti helix is the concha, and it is the upper groove area of the concha which the IEM apparently is supposed to sort of groove inside there and create a lock.

IPad wireless n with extreme and comcast. Maybe I should start putting it to good use. Sorry not showing, about 15 Mbps download and 5 upload
-
Sounds good Justin. I would say it's minor as well but enough for me to at least propose a fit adjustment.
-
I am going to play with them a little more but My right side might need some slight fit adjustment. When turning my head extreme left or right the right ear opens up a bit without losing a seal. Jaw movements seem to do the same with the same kind of popping/squelching that elnero reported as well. I've got some major commuting next week and then will probably hit up adam about fit stuff.

Man the midrange richness is freaking ridiculous. Really nice seal and very comfortable, I am glad I got my impressions from Jerry's guy at CanJam rather than some random person in Chicago (though I am sure Sensaphonics would have done a similar good job with impressions, though they charge a lot extra if you don't go with their IEM's). I am surprised that the universal demos weren't too far off in terms of sound signature for me. Very clear, focused, detailed sound, nice full bodied sound through the mids and the bass is right where I like it to be (the 16 demo's bass was just a tad distracting).
-
They have arrived! Pretty good fit. I downloaded the sensaphonics bass seal test and it seems ok. I also have some other bass frequency tracks and they sounded fine. Nothing crazy when I move my head, but when I open my jaw really large, I hear a pop in my right ear, which might be more attributed to a very slight case of TMJ then seal or fit. Isolation is great and the music is rocking so far.
