My dock arrived today.

So I'm not sure I get this. If I want to tether my ipad to my VZW droid eris, I need to convince the ipad that the eris is a WiFi router. Fine. But does that mean I can "route" over VZW's 3g?

I guess I didn't realize the Pre could be used for this purpose. So could I use my Verizon Eris with an unjailbroken iPad?

Ah, I see. Then how does the iPad "see" it? Also, how does it work with Shelly's pre?

Wow. I really don't think there's a headphone out there that reproduces rock drums/percussion as well as the JH13. Really not even close.

This could very well be true, but I almost feel like they kind of have to say that regardless, or risk having a bunch of upset JH13 owners. I agree, I think it was about the same. The universals give a pretty solid idea of the final performance. What the universals don't do, imo, is recreate the sense of absolute immersion that the customs achieve.
