  1. grrrr...Fios here.
  2. I've found with Things, the best way to use it is to put in all the stuff you need to do on Day 1, keep up with it through Day 7, and then never use it again.
  3. I have to admit that I am once again tempted to get a MBP.
  4. I wonder if it would work with the PWD... EDIT: Sorry you don't like the TTVJ, Guillaume.
  5. This is kind of a big deal, no?
  6. Dan, I just saw that. What does it mean? Would that include USB DACses or is it input only? EDIT: Moar here: http://lists.apple.com/archives/coreaudio-api/2010/Apr/msg00124.html I still don't quite understand, but there's something in the link above about supporting 24/96 down the road. Not sure exactly what that means, though.
  7. Agree with the fail points above. Deleting it asap.
  8. FFFFUUUUU JJJJJJOOOBBBBBSSS
  9. This refresh does not impress me much. Maybe I'll get 2 moar iPads.
  10. That looks like it is made out of liquid. It is, right?
  11. Yay everyone!
  12. I think if I were to repeatedly cancel and renew my iPad order, I could effectively ensure that neither would come out. I could...STOP TIME.
  13. I think this Daring Fireball piece does a pretty good job of explaining the underlying theme(s) of the iPhone 4.0 OS keynote, which I was utterly unable to articulate.
  14. Sorry wrong thread.
  15. What if I want to release the IP and get it again? IOW, my goal is to force the ISP to renew the lease or spit out a new IP.
  16. I love that review! iPadders, report in. One week under your belts--any further thoughts?
  17. The Apple Extreme on its own is great. But the project above has been no fun--no fun at all. I'd love to blame it all on FIOS, but the AEBS is a little bit to blame as well. For example, on the AEBS, there's no readily-apparent option to release the IP address that the AEBS is pulling from the ISP. That's stupid. My experience with Apple's networking products is that they are great in Apple networking product only environments, but they can be twitchy with other routers.
  18. Will do. I have Verizon Fios, and I hope to make the AEBS the main router and have the FIOS router sit behind it. This will involve talking to Verizon customer service, which ages a man.
  19. Apple Airport Extreme Base Station.
  20. "It's such a fine line between stupid and clever."
  21. Mike, do you know if there is currently--or in the works--an iPad to connect to one of the realtime transcription packages? That would be pretty cool.
  22. I like that movie.
