This could very well be true, but I almost feel like they kind of have to say that regardless, or risk having a bunch of upset JH13 owners. I agree, I think it was about the same. The universals give a pretty solid idea of the final performance. What the universals don't do, imo, is recreate the sense of absolute immersion that the customs achieve.

Agree. I thought the interviewer was surprisingly knowledgeable and Jerry did a great job of explaining the earpiece and its audiophile appeal without dumbing it down or being condescending. Jerry is pretty cool.

The various reviews and flurry of apps are pretty fascinating. Not to be too bandwagonesque, but it kind of seems like a "moment." For some reason, this device conjures up this text for me:

Yes. Unbelievably, my office does not have WiFi (don't ask--my Company is in the tech stone age). In addition, we technically are not supposed to have access to our personal/external email accounts. So while I have such access, the option to just use the iPad would be nice. I also end up doing a fair amount of emailing from cabs so the 3G is useful there.

3G does suck eggs in NYC, but I want the option.

I'm ordering the 64GB 3G tonight.

If you guys report back that the onscreen keyboard works--and works acceptably well for a few hundred words of typing--then I'm probably in for a 3G model.

Pretty decently-written review. I'd be interested in how much they leak.
