  1. I like the gold color. Congratulations on your build!
  2. I wonder why the lsk389 would be a problem?
  3. That looks really easy to build. Which power supply would you use? Edit: Never mind, just found the new thread.
  4. Kevin, you should go work for Cavalli. after all, he seems to be correcting his mistakes by following your recommendations
  5. And where did you get it from?
  6. 450x2 125 mA 15-0-15 No inrush protection
  7. I have used SumR also but haven't had any problems. Yet Left mine on all night by mistake and no problems. The question is, who to order future trafos from.
  8. I hear the Megatron works nicely with the LCD3. The Cmoy does well too.
  9. Thanks for the information
  10. [Just did a power-on test with everything on the floor. It powers up nicely! Left it running for about 10 mins... no sparks and all... pretty stoked! Late over here now... will do the sound test tomorrow - going to have trouble focusing tomorrow! Offset/bias didn't go above 3.5V for the time I had it up running.] Mama Mia ! :0
  11. Mr Cavalli, I consider myself a novice and I can do a better job than you. That board looks horrible and if you are honest about it you should not be charging 5000.00 for it. There is no excuse for this kind of work.
  12. Amos, it would be nice if headfi would allow uncensored threads like this one. Censorship is counter productive in the long run. I haven't gone back there since you deleted my posts, and although I will continue to lurk there, I don't appreciate when only one side of the issue is discussed. I did not hear you complain or delete dbel84 bullsh*t post when discussed 'known issues" with the KGSSHV. And I did tell you what I thought in my reply email to you.
  13. I know you can post pictures, but do you think they would allow Spritzer to post the pictures he posted in this thread? I have received emails from moderators before not to mention head case by name, not allowing links to this site.
  14. Since pictures can not be posted at HF, your statement is irrelevant. If you are unconvinced by the pictures posted here, well, I guess nothing can make you change your mind.
  15. Devils for not paying attention when I play with fire! Thanks for helping me avert a stupid disaster.
  16. Well, I will change them before they explode The 1210 is TO220 The 1512 at mouser is DO247
  17. Bought a Cannon macro lens, but I am not a very good photographer. 3 cold solder joints fixed.
  18. I said something nice about the LL Nice things won't be censored. Nice things won't be censored. Nice things won't be censored. EDIT: thats it! I am banning myself from head-fi.
  19. Yes, Defqon, Shelly's and mine about the poor soldering job are gone. And all this in the post Mikhail era...
  20. Well, Currawong sent me an email stating he deleted certain posts including mine. I told him I was very concerned headfi would favor Mr Cavallis interest over his customers. I wonder how much Cavalli pays them on sponsorship fees.
  21. They have not deleted mine (gilency). God, I just can't get over these pics. Maybe the poor soldering adds to the liquidity and smoothness of its sound.
  22. I wonder if Henyo has been hired by Cavalli Audio. He could do no worse
