Have you listened to the Meze Elite in comparison with the Expanse? I listened to both at CanJam and both were great. Hard deciding which one I like most.

I agree with you. Used to buy the best and latest IEM. Now at work I have the AirPodMax or Pros and that is really all I need when I am on the move. The only exception is when bike riding, I wear bone conduction earphones for my audio-books. The only good headphones I need is my Staxes when I am at home.

If a lot of your listening is Classical, Idagio is great. Only CD quality though, so not for golden ears 😜. I use it and Apple music and perfectly content.

The AirPod Max is my to go at the office. Easy to use, instant connection with my iphone, noise cancellation when needed, good sound. My Stax is for home.
