  1. Something on HF worth reading... lies I say lies. Unless Asr wrote it, then its canon. Getting closer to being able to fill your wallet there Asr?
  2. Bah no credit for my sacdlover cool list status from 2006... boo =)
  3. Now if only he did 2 board single box b22 =(
  4. On my previous and short lived Rudi the heatsinks would have been nice. The sides of the case were of the "fingers don't go here" variety Now who builds M3 and two channel b22/s22 for us DIY noobs?
  5. Two months is about right. Got on the list in June. IEM and me don't get along. Being Canadian and all, the whole RSA milspec thing isn't doing it =P
  6. Fully expect the O2 to win but won't cry if the rig with less 0s in the price wins =)
  7. I have the Senn 800 on route, the Audeze LCD-2 on pre-order, the HE-5LE in house and my only amp is the Meier Concerto to use when I compare contrast them to my KGSS/O2. Thinking it might be a slaughter. So what single, hopefully quickly sourced amp can both amp the trio above well and provide at least some chance of pulling me away from the O2 for around $1K. Go For anyone curious as to why I'm even entertaining the tourny... My O2 cable got torn inside the jacket so I sent it off to the UK for repair which in turn made me realise I had been out of the hobby aspect of audiophilia for 4 years So I'm running around grabbing cans to try that I missed along the way. Always been a fan of Kevin's work but had a HeadAmp Reference(AKA GS-X) before the KGSS so I wanted to try something new. Would really like to try a tube amp if one matched the above req.
  8. When I spoke to Kevin about it years ago that was pretty much his thoughts too. KGTT to KGSS, good improvement in sound. KGSS to KGBH, technical advantage, similar sound.
  9. Aye guitar bite/attack is in the 2-4KHz region. Grunt is down low but attack no.
  10. Given your preference for things non Gilmore... Woo WES. Personally I love my KGSS but if you don't then the WES is probably more for you.

The last LCD-2 to hit the for sale section sold for $1080. Audez'e wants $945... so it pays $135 to try it =)

Root bear, sounds mean =) Good news is trying the LCD-2 at home is currently something you get paid to do since the HF crew is happy to pay more than full price to jump the queue.

Okay he's a good father. Still an asshat to people who entertain the idea that the LCD-2 might not be the second coming of you know who =P

Oh he's driving alright... me to nerd rage. Its like talking to that thick headed know it all kid in elementary school. You're wrong. Am not. Are too. Am not. Are too. Mom, kw's being an asshat again! =)

Well I've had my fill of the hype bus that the other site is riding. Anyone had a chance to compare the LCD-2 to an O2/KGSS rig?
