DNA (Donald North Audio) Headphone Amp
Obviously not. I was just wondering whether anyone here had some first hand experience with this amp by now and what they thought of it. Hence the thread bump. And yes, I've scoured the other place as well.

DNA (Donald North Audio) Headphone Amp
Sorry about the thread bump but I'm considering buying this amp. It's been around for a while now. Any thoughts (about the amp)?

Audeze LCD-2
Pick your poison, drink it, put the LCD-2 on your noggin, press play, stop obsessing and start enjoying it for the flawed headphone that it obviously is.

Grado PS1000: Review'd
I've only had mine for a short time but I just wanted to echo postjack's excellent review. The highs are just right for me but I like some top-end sparkle. The PS1000 has what I feel the LCD-2 lacks in this department, not to mention some air, which I just mentioned. I suppose it's coloured but I don't know what a neutral headphone sounds like. What I do know is that I prefer the colour of this headphone to some of the other high-end offerings that I've heard, with the exception of one Stax rig that I particularly liked. Could the bass be tighter and more detailed? That would be a welcome improvement but no headphone is perfect. Unlike postjack, I found the bass presentation of the Lambda's that I tried to be their achille's heel. Like postjack, I think that John Grado has created a seriously resolving headphone that's also fun.

Audeze LCD-2
There's a lot to like about this phone but it did sound a tad dark to me.

Stax SR-507 investigation
I tried the SR-507 and SR-4040LE with the SRM-600 LE. I also tried the SRS-3170, which made more of an impression. I preferred it to the HD800 with Lehmann Black Cube Linear. Thank you.

Grado PS1000: Review'd
I'll press on regardless. The PS1000 is hopefully winging its way here as I type. The WA6SE is quite a step up in performance and price from the two models that I'm considering. The form factor isn't ideal either. I was hoping that the MAD Ear+HD or WA6 would be more than sufficient to drive the PS1000 and am just wondering how they compare.

Grado PS1000: Review'd
Apologies for the thread bump but do the MAD Ear+HD and Woo WA6 amps pair nicely with the PS1000?

Stax SR-507 investigation
^ Okay but how does that translate into performance? In what way does the SRM-323(S) sound "better" to your ears than the SRM-006t(S)?

Stax SR-507 investigation
Just wondering why you prefer the SRM-323(S) to the SRM-006t(S)?
